Today at college was a strange one, we are preparing for a gig in the theatre (setting up mics n shit) only to find out this morning that they need more songs and that we have to get a band together and perform a song tomorrow.

Talk about short fucking notice!

So after several people said i should do a rendition of my squirrel song i caved in and decided that we would do it with style - the original recording has vocals, acoustic guitar and electric guitar. For the performance will we have vocals, backing vocals (doing the voices of the characters), acoustic guitar (or electric if needs be), electric bass, drums and the solo has been replaced from electric guitar to saxophone. A bloody big change that i'm hoping will go down well.

And i'm hoping to fuck that the gig will be recorded, i want to wang this on myspace! (regardless of how crap it is).

Well that went really well. There were some really great performances there by students and teachers and my song went down well!

Ended up doing backing vocals on a bob marley track too. That was funky

Oh and the whole she-bang was filmed, so expect my song to be on myspace soonish!
