    The Catalinbread stuff is generally well made and well designed. I previously owned that HyperPak and it's not a bad pedal - not a clean boost at all though, it definitely adds some good grit.

    As for the pricing, I'd say that if you think the component price is the only cost in making, distributing and selling something then you should try mking a living from it.

    Aye - bear in mind that a full time pedalbuilder has staff wages to pay. Plus overheads on the workshop, taxes (and accountancy costs), R&D, distribution costs, retailer margin and has to make a living wage at the end of it.

    Exactly mate, we're on the same page on this. The only build interest I have at the moment is for some local musicans and friends, done about 50 pedals in the last 2 years and it's really just for helping people out and the small profit I make I spend on buying gear for myself.
