Woe is Me

OK Guys, I really would appreciate some input here if possible?
I have been looking for a New Booster/Overdrive and have thus far really come down in favour of 2 possibles.
1. Homebrew Power Screamer
2. Blackstar HT Dual.

Now I have had a few recommendations from friends and one in particular is really sure that the HBE Power Screamer will be the ultimate Winner?

However, I have heard so many good reports on the HT Dual.

Has anyone here experience of either, or preferably BOTH of these Units?

I do realise that the ONLY way to be 100% certain is to try them Both for myself, but as my nearest Stockists are some way away, I could use some wisdom before travelling great distances.

The HBE Powerscreamer is an awesome pedal, played it a few times and I highly rate it. HBE make some real good stuff. The boost and diode select functions are very useful. Only snag is actually finding one in the UK, they do pop up occasionally on ebay, new they are quite expensive. It is a TS type OD pedal, but has more lower end than most TS pedals I've palyed.

Never played the Blackstar pedals but they are getting some good reviews so worth checking out.

Boss SD-1 is excellent, especially as it can be had for under £20, got mine for £15 delivered and i love it.
