    Default Another preamp question

I shall shortly be purchasing a passive pickup for my mandolin, and will therefore be looking for an external preamp. I'm very taken with the LR Baggs Gigpro http://www.lrbaggs.com/html/products...s_gigpro.shtml - my only question is, would the signal from the 1/4" output be suitable to go straight to the mixing desk, or would I be needing an additional DI box in between preamp and desk?
You wouldn't let it lie, would you?

    rtfm!

    E. 1/4” Output: This is a regular unbalanced output for a standard mono cable.
You can plug this into just about anything.

    Thankyou!

In my defence, I am young and foolish.
