    Aha - good call.

I have it assembled on my desk at the moment and the general concensus is that it's the coolest thing in the world, ever.

For much good-natured hilarity, try sneaking up behind someone and snapping one of the clips shut on their ear.

That's the one I replaced - it became intermittent, then I lost the threaded piece that holds the bits in - without it it's a paperweight and you have to replace the whole thing.

At least with the Antex you just jam the bits on
    Red ones are better.

I'm confused - which one of you's doing the soldering FFS? Honestly, I don't know whether you're Arthur or Martha.

Edit: be careful where you put stuff if it's not being held by the third hand gizmo. Whatever you're touching with the iron gets hot and might leave a burn if it's on a wooden table. Luckily I only melted noddy placemats that nobody wanted.

    We both are!

Will be searching for a Noddy placemat equivalent before I get down to soldering. A friend managed to drop a hot metal silver ring onto her carpet whilst we were making jewellery. That made a pretty, singed in, pattern. D'oh!

Has "The Great Fire Of London 2 : This Time It's Electrical" been avoided . . . ?
