made in japan sticker on the back of the headstock, pre-lawsuit gibson 'open book' headstock.
has a mahogany neck and headstock, back and sides. (this does make it a bit 'neck heavy', but you dont really notice when you are sat down with it)
it is not in perfect condition. some pattern worn away from the pick guard, some indentations on the fretboard around the 2nd and 3rd frets (someone has been pressing hard), some small indentations on the frets. minor discoloration to the binding, there is a screw missing from the bridge but is onyl really a cosmetic issue. it used to have stickers on it, which is what the pale marks on the body are.
a nice guitar, has a 'bright' sound. I put a new set of strings on it last week, they arent cheap either.
