Fender Strat Relic with pup upgrade
Testing the water with this really.
I've had this for donkeys now. It was reliced to a very high standard by a contact I have. To give you an idea of the quality of the relic job....................
It's the reason I sold my Nocaster. Everytime I looked at it all I saw was processed generic wear patterns and no real "aging".
It's trully awesome. Very very authentic looking and it ALWAYS gets a compliment when I'm playing it.
Anyway, it's as per the photos with one exception. It now has a Seymour Duncan Lil'59 in the bridge position. This is 110% brand new - fitted it last week! It sounds awesome and very very like my Les Pauls. However, switching in the middle pickup gives a superb tone that no Strat or Les Paul could manage - truly is a best of both worlds. Obviously selecting the mid, neck or both gives you traditional Strat territory.
So why am I selling this if it is SO good?
Well, I'm GASsing bad for a PRS SC and the Mrs has (annoyingly) brought in a "1 in 1 out" policy. The rest is self-explanatory.
I've no idea what this is worth so I'm not putting a price on it. First decent offer get's it.
