I've got a complete PC that's looking for a new home. It's a good few years old though, so the spec won't be stunning (can't remember offhand, and I'll not be able to check it out until the weekend). Problem will probably be the shipping cost. Have you checked out evilBay? You can get some pretty powerful refurb Dell boxes for £200-£300.
Aye just picked up a mobo on eBay actually and I just found a AMD 64 3ghz CPU in the garage!
I have a HD and some RAM at work so I'm good to go.
Reason for this is to build a rack mounted PC for recording the band. Fortunatley I just picked up a PC rack case for £30 too!
