PM sent. Do you have any preferences as to how I pack it? I've not sent a guitar before. It'll be in it's gigbag with all of the accessories/cables and packed out with bubblewrap/newspaper. My plan was to then put it in a cardboard guitar box if I can find one and pad around it some more.

Do you want the strings slacking off for sending it?

The safest way is to take it apart. Completely. Anything that can be unscrewed, unbolted, or sawn in half, should be. Keep going until it fits in a jiffy bag.

That sounds appropriate - local guitar shop should have a suitable box. Lots and lots and lots of padding please!

Dunno about the strings. I'd think best left at tension?
