    No worries.

A guitar like that will sell itself - but only if people see it!

Hi ladies and gents. Its been up for a while now and I can see that people have been looking but no offers have been received.

Can you give me some advice as to the best way to get a realistic price for my PRS.

I want to get a Les Paul Standard (2008 model), if I get the chance to try one, and I guess the trade in value would be far worse than what i could get via a private sale.

Thanks for looking and please leave some helpful comments.

well i paid £1300 for my MINT condition custom 24, with all case candy and tags and everything. and that was a while back, with the credit crunch at the moment you'll probably get less than that.

    Hi bluesboy,

first up don't take it personally - for the last few months things really aren't selling that well (either direct or via eBay etc) and plenty of us enjoy nosing at the gear for sale even if we've not got a hope of buying, so views don't always equal serious interest.

To maximise your exposure you could also list it on Gumtree (free ads online - have a google) and eBay (you never know).

Nice guitar, but well done on seeing the light and going Les Paul

    Red ones are better.

+1 on what Tim said...it's a hard time to sell at the moment. Plus you are being a bit optimistic with your expectations on price....you're already pricing it over what a retailer would charge. http://machinehead.co.uk/product_inf...oducts_id/1628
I'm fed up with people joking about dyslexia. It's not big and it's not furry.
