That's quite nice. I'm not dead keen on the funny surround for the pickup switch, but the inlay is nice, as is the stained finish.

I sold my S540FM earlier this year after owning it for about 8yrs....good guitars. Just I grew tired of the thin body. They look nice, but I always felt better when I had something more substantial on. And still wanting a superstrat type guitar I sold that and got the JS1000 in its place, which I much prefer. Good GAS though congrats on a nice new geetar. My S540 sold for £475 (begrudgingly)and took a few weeks to shift - simply because I was adam ant that I wasn't taking less than £500 for a guitar that cost me £1k new. Thats the probs with Ibanez guitars they dont hold their value like say Fender or Gibson. Well their non sig models anyways. But of course your not buying with that in mind...i'm sure you'll love it!
