I quite like the Relics, from an aesthetic viewpoint as well as practical....Surely its more about how the whole guitar feels than how it looks? I thought that was the whole point of a relic? For that 'played in' feel?

I think I would rather get a really old Strat than a Relic but I can see the appeal.
