    I don't like the way they alter the feel of a guitar nor do they look 'cool'. Nasty things for fashion victims.

    Personally I love my Bigsby, its a bit of a pain when it comes to restringing but other than that its the proverbial dogs danglies---sounds great, stays in tune and looks the part. Jobsagoodun.
    There is no aspect of that guitar whihc could be referred to as streamlined! It probably looked better as a tree!

    I would argue with added sustain; the spring soaks up vibrations like any trem and diminishes sustain.
    The less stuff there is between the string and the wood the better.
