Kev - if you're interested send a faulty pedal to me to take a look at why it's wrong. I'm an electronic designer (degree in electronics) and I design / make stuff for a big telecoms company. I can help you understand why you two pedals are failing in shipment and how you can resolve for any future builds.

    Will bear that in mind.

    Thanks

I've sent a few out now and 2 have been faulty. Cut a long story short, I sent them out working and they ended up faulty in transit. I always aim to rectify mistakes, but both are a mystery as they left here working fine.

Basically, I don't have the time to sit and problem-solve a pedal that worked a few days earlier. Please read my first post, I love to build them and enjoy them, however, nowhere do I mention trouble-shooting pedals and banging my head against a wall trying to get something to work that I know worked only 48 hours ago.

Anyway, apologies to all concerned and to the people on the waiting list.

That's a shame, but I can see it might have become a nightmare for you. It did get me interested in building my own, though, so it's not all bad.

I can source most of the components, I think, but I'm unsure of the best source for the cases and sockets. I'd be grateful if you could point me in the right direction

I was thinking maybe I could build my own TS clone.....then I saw all the components needed...I'll have to live without one for now, I'm sure I'd never get it to work!

If you want a "kit" I could sort one out for you.

I bought all the bits to make them up for you and all the others that asked and won't be doing anything with them for donkeys.

Give me a shout if you want me to stick the bits in the post.

Dont want this to become out of hand like the pedal builds with everyone wanting Nocaster Kits.

But if you did happen to have the bits spare, I'd love to get a TS808 kit.

No worries if not, as i know you've bought the parts so YOU can make them, rather than to give to other people.

Thanks Ash. But I've already got 6 Tube Screamers and, from memory, I've got the bits for another 3, so I'm never going to build them unless I get REALLY bored!!!!

I'll sort it out tonight and see what I've got. Will give you a shout later.

    Kev,

If you've already bought the components for my LBM, I'd be happy to buy them off you and stump up for postage rather than have you out of pocket. If you could point me in the direction of a circuit diagram, I'm sure I could have a bit of fun trying to build it!

    Haven't ordered those parts yet.

I'll have a butchers tonight and see what I have. I know I do have a fuzz, but it's not a LBM.
