I've pretty much given up on electric guitars, so I'm selling my "rig".
The guitar is in great condition, candy apple red, with a few small dings as you'd expect from bedroom use, recently set up with new 11s. I've looked after them both well, with the guitar having been regularly cleaned, string changes every month, etc (basically they've not been ignored or mistreated). The 500 is a really nice guitar; it has a great neck with a contoured heel, nice craftsmanship and the same electronics as the upmarket 700. Line6 stopped making them and replaced them with the much cheaper 300 and 600 because the 700 wasn't selling in a lineup with the 500.
The guitar comes with the Line 6 gig bag, power adapter with jack/XLR switch, and stereo cable for power. Also there's the variax digital cable included, so you can connect the guitar to the Pod XT Live with one cable, and not have to bother with power etc and you can also then connect the whole thing to a PC and play around with the workbench thing to create alternate tunings and whatnot.
The pedal has the power adapter with it and has the FX junkie pack on it. I updated it a while ago so it has a Digitech Whammy like effect setting thingy on it too. Without risking sounding like a Line6 advert, it really is great fun to be able to switch from a Strat into a Fender to a Les Paul into a Marshall stack with a press on a pedal.
I live in Durham; if anyone wants to come have a go, feel free to get in touch. I'll be putting this lot on ebay soon if there aren't any takers. I'd like to get £525 ono for them.
Cheers!
