Default Gibson Les Paul Deluxe 1972 for sale

    Hi there,

I have a 1972 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe for sale. This guitar was in a pretty much non original state when I got it so below is a detailed list of what has been done to the guitar since I have owned it. Suffice to say, barring the neck and body which are original, it has been re-fitted to as close to an original spec as possible. It originally started life as a Goldtop with mini Humbuckers but has had a re-fin to Cherry red, this was done prior to me owning the guitar. It has also had a mini-switch fitted at somepoint prior to my ownership of the guitar but this has been taken out with the hole left behind being filled and colour matched. It has NEVER had a headstock break or repair. Genuine reason for sale (I'm after something else!) , swaps/ trades invited as well. Here's the details:

RS Guitar works repro double ring Klusons (aged)
Repro Deluxe truss rod cover (aged)
Nut re-cut and glued in (looks original though)
Frets polished, lightly dressed, board oiled and cleaned
    New Switchcraft switch installed
New Gibson '57 Classic (neck) and Classic Plus (bridge) pickups fitted
Pickups fitted with RS Guitarworks aged nickel covers
Correct era braided wire used throughout
Quality pots and caps fitted (RS Guitarworks)
    New switchcraft jack fitted
    Aged creme Jackplate fitted
    Aged creme Pickup rings fitted
Aged lightweight nickel stop tailpiece fitted
    Aged creme scratchplate fitted
    Aged reflector knobs fitted
    New ABR bridge fitted

    Guitar fully setup (11-48's)
    Non original fitted case

All in all, it's a player's guitar and in no way is it a collectors dream BUT it does play and sound great in my opinion.

Thanks for looking and feel free to get in touch if you need pics or info.

    Price: £1250 ono

    Cheers
    Hugh

Whoah, if that had a Bigsby on it it'd be incredible.
