Default Tele porn for those who like them.

I dunno if this has been posted before but I know there is a lot of Tele lovers out there, I think its quite new.

It looks like a Tele that most of you guys make when you do that thing where you make a guitar and show everyone (Not sure what it's called). Anyways enough of my rambling.

I love Telecasters but prefer them in their original incarnation; two single coils (not P90's and definitely no humbuckers) ashtray, three saddles. Any deviation loses the Tele tone and you end up with a Tele-shaped guitar; not the same thing at all.

Blimey, at £400-ish, that's quite tempting.

Note it's got a glued neck, gibson scale length etc.

It's a Gibson Les Paul Jr dressed up as a Tele

Oh, that's actually a draw-back for me - I think it'd sound better with the springiness of tone that a bolt-on gives (I know what I mean...)

So Fender are copying Wesley...makes a nice change...

Bet it's a hair more expensive than a Wesley Freeport though!

Apparently, it's based on the old TC-90, which was a great-playing "Tele" but not something you'd want to be seen with in public. Also resembles a Strat-shaped thing they made a while ago, but I can't remember the name of it...
