I'm thinking of selling the neck on my NEW '62 Re-issue MIJ Tele. It's from the sunburst, bound edge type ones that are pretty common. I don't have pics of it yet but will do over the weekend if anyone here is interested. I'm putting together a Tele project and maybe some funds from this wouldn't go amiss
Might suit a 'Partso-caster' project, direct replacement or keeping as a spare. I have given it a light fret dress, polished the frets and Fret Doctored (oil) the board. This might be a negative for some here, I have also stripped back the lacquer from the back of the neck and re-polished to give a 'bald/ smooth' type finish. I also (on purpose) went through the lacquer to the bare wood in parts to simulate were as I was going to relic it but decided not to.
If there's no interest then that's fine I'll hang on to it for another project, just thought I'd offer it up here and see if there was any interest.
