I found the (new) Highway that I tried very disappointing, especially in comparison with the Mex hanging next to it. If you want a modern-feeling sort of guitar, I can kinda see the point in the SSH version, but to me the one I tried (SSS) didn't feel or sound anything like a strat should.

Never tried one of the older Highways though, which also got glowing reviews.
