Interesting that you mention Jellyfish as I was listening to the Bigelf song that was posted on the Musicradar front page and that has elements that remind me of both Jellyfish and the Roger Joseph Manning material from later days, especially the Imperial Drag album.

They are a 90s guitar-pop band from San Francisco. I think they are fucking awesome. Here is a video of one of their famous songs from the first album.

A dreary, lame East Coast US band from the 90s who had hard-ons for Lennon and McCartney and a big trunk of stupid clothes. They were the kind of American pop pap you'd expect to hear crop up on "Friends" or something.
Hideously over-rated by people who should know better.
