Default Mesa Boogie Mark III head - SOLD

Any interest in a near mint condition fully loaded Mesa Boogie Mark III shorthead?

Its a Blue Stripe model, and fully loaded as far as options go (Simul-Class/EQ/Reverb). I will include a stepdown transformer to run it on UK voltage and I also have the padded Mesa Boogie Mark series head cover to go with it.

The amp is loaded with 4 x 5881's, but is capable of also using 4 x 6L6's or even 2 x 6L6 + 2 x EL34. The 5881's work perfect with this amp and sounded the best to my ears, after trying many other tube combinations.

Its the shorthead model so its very compact, easier to move to gigs and also it can be mounted into a rack case if you buy a Mesa Boogie Mark series rack kit for it.

Insane sounding amp! Any tones available, ranging super high gain tones to beautiful cleans. Not to mention the easiest feel of any amp i have played thru. Its super easy to shred on this amp, even with the gain set very low.

I bought this from the USA back in '05 from a guy in Vegas, who had kept this in a studio environment and before that, it had been in storage for many years. I had it fully serviced by a Mesa registered tech here in the UK, about a year and a half ago, and its working 110% perfect and sounds its best.

Im not desperate to let this go, by any means... this is the best Mark III i have ever heard and its an extremely clean looking amp too for its age. The thing is im mainly an older Marshall kinda guy so i dont really need to keep this one around for use as my main amp or anything.

Here's some pics i took a few days ago:

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...mul-switch.jpg
    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...bluestripe.jpg

The pic of the faceplate shows some residue from some masking tape that was stuck to the faceplate to mark settings. I didnt have time to clean it up before taking pics, but i will make sure its cleaned up when someone buys the amp

I will sell it for £1100 or your best offer!

PM me or email me at: dancegower AT googlemail DOT com if interested!

    Cheers!
    Dan

I used to have one of these and sold it to get an engl powerball. Should've kept it, it was the best amp i've played.
