    Default An endearingly loony-sounding review.

It's from Harmony Central, naturally. It's a review of a Fender Road Worn '50s Telecaster.

the whole guitar was assembled like a chimp got into the shop and read the instructions on the chalk board.

I doubt these will amount to not much more than wall hangers.

If you have ever dealt with Fender before. you will know it's easier to just stick your hand in your pocket and pay for a new piece rather than go through the inquesition they put you through.

I play nothing but teles and have written several reviews, honest reviews from a tele player. I own several custom shop tele's and for fender to come out with a south of the border Tijuana special is an insult to every guy or gal that ever laid out three to five grand for a custom shop relic! and to and insult to injury they are feather light even the ash tele! these guitars are firewood! Squires are 100 percent superior and made in China. Mexico has figured out a new way to stick it to us. Fender had better smarten up fast and fire those landscapers that they have working at that plant and just make american guitars . $1000.00for a guitar that can't hold it's own next to 159.00 squire is to much for us to take in a bad economy.
    Great stuff!

I bet he's never actually played one.

In fact, I reckon almost all HC reviews are based on rumours.

Think he should have checked his typing and spelling before hitting the POST button - half of it I had to read a few times trying to work out what he actually meant.
