    Default swapping klusons for grovers

how easy is it to do this?

Ive got a les paul copy with two broken kluson style tuners, so i was thinking of swapping them all for a new set of grovers. Is this an easy install? or does it involve drilling and stuff?

    Silly idea, grovers are 'orrible!

Just get some better quality kluson styled ones. Gotoh do some lovely stuff including locking ones etc etc........

not sure if the fixing holes will line up, so you may need to drill little pilot holes for the screws - the Stewmac site has the technical drawings for them I think so you could check

Gotoh are a very nice brand, ive got at least one part made by them on all my guitars, which ones did you go for? Just the standard kluson replicas? If so cancel the order before it gets debited and order from here to save a few quid!
