    Wonderful.

And she didn't check her position once!!

    Hmmm...

Another graduate from the Corinne Bailey Rae school of "no-one would buy it if she wasn't fit" imo

She's cute for sure, but the music's also top hole.

Corrinne Bailey Rae never made anything half as ace and cool as some of the stuff being played in the promo clip here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ZI7i...eature=related

I've read a bunch of interviews with her from Bass Player - she comes across as educated and humble and just really pleased to have a chance at playing for a living.

She doesn't moan that these days the airlines won't let her bring her bass - so she just takes along her own Bridge and gets on with it.

    I must order her CD.

    I have just realised...

out of the last 10 albums I have purchased... 9 have been jazz.

    (The other was Slipknot!)

My tastes are changing very rapidly, it appears!

The more I listen to her stuff, the better it's sounding, behind the cute face there's some proper, serious jazz! So I've just ordered the 2 albums.

    Me too!!

I have been in 2 minds about off loading some kit to see if I can afford a Electric Double Bass (can't fit a proper one in the house or the car!)... this might just push me over the edge on that!

Alas I think this is out of my price range somewhat:

    NS Design CR4M

    Only about £1800....

Just been listening to all of "Esperanza"

What an album! Haven't been this pleased with a purchase for years.
