If you like the Foo's you could try - Taylor Hawkins & the Coattail Riders
QOTSA - clearly 'Songs for the Deaf' if you don't own it already
VR - Libertad is quite good, but not up to the standard of Contraband
Rock and roll ain't noise pollution...

If you already like QOTSA, do you own any KYUSS?

"Blues for the red sun" and "and the circus leaves town" albums are my favourite examples of Josh Hommes riffing.

    Yup, great albums.
    Nothing like QOTSA.
Love Kyuss, not fussed about QOTSA.
Don't ask me when I began to hate
    Coz I don't recall a time I didn't

I usually buy around 2-5 CDs per week, and have been collecting for over 30 years. From purchases over the last six months or so I would recommend:

Both of the Black Stone Cherry albums; the self titled debut and 'Folklore and Superstition'
    Both of The Answer's albums
Joe Bonamassa - The Ballad of John Henry
    AC/DC - Black Ice
Shinedown - the Sound of Madness
Robert Plant and Alison Krauss - Raising Sand
    Airbourne's debut is also good

There are many others - but those are the ones that spring to mind

As an aside, cack I have wasted money on: Chinese Democracy
