    Default Properly drawn pan envelope.

Hey. I was wondering if it's somehow possible to draw a perfect pan envelope for 16 bars track to make it evenly slide from Left To Right each 2 bars. The thing is, im runnin' Cubase and the Pen tool is quite akward to draw, whatever I try the envelope just doesnt sit right. Might be a stupid question, but are there Presets for envelopes or something like that?

Donīt use the pen tool, use the line tool, and snap to bar, done.

Cubase has an auto pan plugin that allows you to set the shape (sine/saw) and time, that can also be sync'd to the track tempo.

You can also draw in a sine or saw shape using the line tool to automate panning as well.

Another case of getting bogged down with visuals. Assign a controller knob, press record, turn knob. Done.
