I am actually tempted to trade down to his guitar as I would like a tele, hence losing money.

cheers mate, its on ebay and has not long to go, had offers along the way but I have been reluctant, I am in two minds about selling it. but with the recording coming up, I could use a bit of cash and a tele
I am going to keep this till after next saturday, as I have a recording, after that its back up for trade.
anything older and interesting will be considered and as long as its of similar quality I am sure we will both be happy, the necks a little wide for me, otherwise its a total dream to play
