    Default Recommend some TOOL!

    What say you?

I read a load of old interviews with Justin Chaberwotsit (bass) and it interested me...

    Which is a good start?

Album wise I like Aenima the best.
They're not really a 'singles' band, but some obvious songs to try would be Schism, Eulogy, Vicarious, and Sober. That should get you started!
For the record, Eulogy is my fave Tool track.

If I could post a link to a phenomenal experience I had in Neil Morgan's workshop (where some Tool was playing at a calculated, loud enough level to drown out the CNC machine) I would have posted a link to that at the top of the list!

    All of it.

You have no business being a musician if you don't have any appreciation for this band.

    +1, all of it.

Probably worth listening to them in release-order to hear the evolution of their sound. I personally have Lateralus and 10,000 days on constantly though

Have you heard their Toolshed tape cassette? It's awesome. Raw, but brilliant.

Work through them in this order:

    Lateralus
    10,000 Days
    Aenima
    Opiate
    Salival
    Undertow
