    Default Fleet Foxes

    Really excellent stuff, IMO.

My brother bought this the other day, and I offered to keep a backup copy for him. I very much like what I've heard so far, and thought it worthy of mention.

I can usually safely disregard anything Edith Bowman gives the thumbs up to, so I'm glad I gave these chaps another chance.

It's an utterly, utterly wonderful album. Listened to it again in the car today. It's amazing.

It's like a folky Church-going version of the Beach Boys.

Can hear a bit of Starsailor in there as well.

    Great, isn't it.

Sorry. It seems to be my day for spoiling things round here.

There's a real Baroque feel to it.
I loved hearing the single on XFM so eventually got round to downloading the album from Napster
    Bloody great stuff, love it

Yeah, Sam's description does make it sound awful.

    However, it is majestic.

    A truly superb album.

I'm avoiding them, I don't want to like them because I don't like "the next big thing" stuff...

What I've heard so far sounds a bit like Band of Horses.
