Default Need help finishing this! (DnB w/live drums)

    Hullo,

Got a copy of Superior Drummer 2 recently and been playing around with it and come up with this. Played the drum track in through my Roland kit (thankfully I didn't have to edit it that much at all!), but I'm now stuck.

I can't think of what else to put with it, so it's a bit sparse at the moment. Hit a bit of a wall...so have you guys got any ideas?

    It's here: http://www.deadredhour.com/stuff/JazzyDrumStuff.mp3

    Thanks in advance

    Luke.

    Cheers for the listens, guys

Am seeing if the bassist in my band can supply me with some low-end niceness, so will hopefully sound a bit fuller and less scrappy when I post it up next.

Anyone else wanna take a dive?

I like. A nice smooth LTJ Bukem vibe to the whole thing. I like the fact that you left lots of air in the mix.

Not quite so sure about the huge sparse breakdown. Piano sound was a bit nondescript, but the the funky piano line afterwards with the horns was great.
Guitars, effects, a computer, Logic Pro, effects, some more effects ... oh and some effects.

That's really nice mate. Make Echo right on the money with the LTJ comment.
I'd love to join in and help mate but I fear my big stompy industrial boots might destroy the nice delicate balance you have going on

    Cheers for the listens guys

Echo: The piano is just a standard from Reason...Shite sound, I know, but it's all I've got at the moment.

Vasko: Haha, but I love your big stompy industrial boots. I guess you're right though...You're welcome to remix it though!

For sure, send some parts over and I'll have a play
Best send me the info via the ol' FaceBook though because I'm not round these parts too often now.

Great playing... mixing needs a little work though - but all round, a good effort!
