I listened to it 5 minutes ago in the other thread. Not bad post-rocky type stuff.

I can really hear the Oceansize influence here. Been raping Frames of late, fucking love that album. Took a while to sink in, though, didn't get into it as quicky as I did the first two albums.

Anyway, can't wait until you guys get a drummer, will bring the sound out so much. Liking what I'm hearing, too. I Have Everything... is really nice.

Btw: I've got an electric kit running into Superior Drummer 2.0 (check it out, it's lush), so could try mimicking those drum parts if you want? Would be fun for me to try if nothing else

Frames is top schizz, i have to say the opposite, when i first heard it hit me like a train. I over listened though, and i'm not as bigger fan of the production on it, i mean its very open and very true to the sound but its less arty I guess, as wanky as that sounds. I still think EITP is their best, which i believe is a controvesial opinion. Thanks loads for expressing an interest, gonna try and get it sorted soon. I could put my own drum parts on but it seems too much of a hassle. You can have a go if you want mate, its all up in the air at the mo anyway.
Thanks loads anyway, top stuff to hear some one appreciating it,
    Tom

I was quite surprised by the drums, not because they sounded good though. You've managed them to sound real ... but recorded in a particularly poorly acoustically treated toilet.

Guitars seemed well recorded and played. There was some ropiness early on in When I Look Up, but by the heavier parts of the song, things were rocking along nicely.

Quite a lot of clipping on some of the noisier bits. Or possibly just a buzzy pup ...

Myspace has completely nobbled your mp3s too ... all mp3 digital phasiness (most noticeable on cymbals - always is).

I Have Everything is a class track. Classic heavier post-rock.

Will listen to the other two another time. Keep it up!

ps Try last.fm for hosting your tracks. Myspace's quality is awful for the kind of dynamic material you are doing. Or Soundcloud ...
Guitars, effects, a computer, Logic Pro, effects, some more effects ... oh and some effects.

@Echo: Agree re: the drums...They do sound real indeed.

@Tom/HubCab: You've made me re-listen to EITP now. 'Heaven Alive'...what a tune. That, 'A Homage to a Shame', and 'Music for a Nurse'...Blimey. You've made me a convert. I take my words about Frames back.
Could you host the guitar parts of one of your songs (or just a mixdown without drums) somewhere so I can get busy with hitting some shit hopefully in time...You recorded to a click, yeah?

    Oh and...

PS. I recommend SoundCloud too...Not only is the quality good, it's a blindingly good site, too.

Thanks dudes, yer the Logic drum sounds are passable, not a lot of width in them but they do the trick for my purposes. I'm not really looking for complete sound quality at the moment, just want to give people an idea of whats going on. The tracks probably are clipping and there's a few bad seems in a few of the tracks which annoy me but i really just banged them together quickly as a distraction from my dissertation writing. Noctuary; I can have a look at getting them too you soonish, I'm busy with uni work but a break from it would probably be acceptable, i can use sendspace.com if you don't mind giving me your email? I can send you .wav files then. As for all the other sites you've mentioned, i'll definitely look into last.fm cos its a great site but for now I just need to get some band members which will probably be easier said than done since most people are only interested in shitty clangy indie at the moment,
    Thanks dudes,

Oh yeah, they're all done to click. And everyone into position is incredible, but your missing Ornament/Last Wrongs from that list. What an INCREDIBLE song that is.
