    What utter bigoted nonsense is being spouted in this (very old) thread. You can't categorise an entire group of musicians as mentally unbalanced, based on the instrument they choose to play !

    How many guitarist could play in time if it were not for the drummer, eh? Drummers are the engine room of the band and keep things moving at the right tempo.

    Which is all fine and dandy, until they miss a beat in the middle of a difficult bit in the solo and come back in a fraction late because they're too busy trying to hit the cymbal in just the right spot to get that sound.
