Default Limitations of CM DVD energyXT?

    Hi all,

As a complete newbie to this computer music lark, I started using the version of energyXT
on the latest CM DVD. It seems, however, to have several limitations, such as numbers of instruments etc. I've had a good look around but cannot find a full list of such limitations. Can anyone help me with a list?

Also, as a beginner, is energyXT a good choice as a starting sequencer, and will the CM version be sufficient to get going? It's pretty easy to use so far, but I'm concerned about wasting effort on things I can't export and use in other DAWs. Any suggestions welcome.

    Thanks,
    Charles

    The CM version limitations are:

6 tracks, 3 instruments, 1 insert fx per audio channel and 1 global send fx, and no mp3 export.

So you could export stuff as audio into another bit of software no probs
