Default FS: 1970's JMP Half stack

PLEASE NOTE....! ITEM NO LONGER FOR SALE

Some of the old hands will be familiar with me famously saying I wouldn't sell this & I really really don't want to, but know full well this can pay for a full suite of armour for my re-enactments & other things. Or even pay a few bills

here's a photo of the head & the top half of the 4'by'12 cab

    Prepare to drool

Although I know what this is worth I'm opening this up for sealed PM bids, only which I'll review in a couple of weeks, unless I find a bid I just can't turn down.

A bit more information would be good........

    Year of production?
    Originality?
    Mods?
    Repairs?
    Valve type/brand?

Wow... Leave that one with me, not had the back off whilst I've owned it. But appreciate its importance of this to some.

Be right back with you Nocaster.

I've never moded it, doubt it ever has. I know its a 1970's model I know Marshall do keep records of amps they've made. Will PM you the serial numbers. in a bit.

That'll be I reckon between '79 and '81 judging by the serial number being on the front of the amp.

    Nice amp by the way!

    Cheers

79 is my guess, just from the serial number being on the front and using my sixth sense.

Have had the back off it & the hand written label dates it as 24/3/80. So it just missed the 70's by a few months. Sorry, was told when I bought it it was a 70's

    He'ers some more Pics

    02435M is the serial number

As did this. The arrogance is outstanding.

Look, frankly, why are you trying to rip users of this forum off?

I know that you won't take kindly to the same interventions from the same people, but this is something of a community and standing by and watching another forumite pay £900 for your amp would be akin to turning a blind eye to you robbing them.

This is especially pertinent as newer users might see your post count as a sign that you're to be trusted when, in fact, you pretty much left the forum ages ago, then came back months ago with the sole intention of using it as a market to buy your stuff (some of which was priced 2nd hand at the same level as it could be bought for new).

None of that stuff sold and now you're back again trying to sell the same items for lower but still inflated prices, even where you know you would be ripping the buyer off.
I listen to bands that don't even exist yet.

1977 JMP MkII 50w, recent revalve, "treble bleed" caps removed... bog-standard 1936 cab.

    Can't shift the bugger...
