Well hooray I'm a happy bunny now after eventually getting logged onto the NI website and downloading the authorisation file for CM'S free Guitar rig which is actually pretty good.

You can't argue with a sick mind.
I got it activated and running, but cannot get GRigLE to run as a VST, have tried putting the .dll in every folder I can think of, it shows the plugin in the Cubase PlugIn Information window but doesn't show it when I try to add it as an instrument in VST Instruments.
I have a few NI apps installed and it's always like pulling teeth to get them activated etc OK GuitRigLE is free, but the other apps I have were bought but I wouldn't buy anymore NI products - life's too short
had exactly the same problems, quite why a site demands explorer 7 and above is beyond me. As for the user account; what NI doesn't tell you is they mail you the password to use in your account so until you get that email you can't login! Had me going for ages...
