Couple of 'Relics' FOR SALE
Hi Folks,
I'm thinking of selling off 2 'self put-together' Fender relics I made last year and early this year. I think 'made' is probably too strong a word right enough as all I did was nail them together BUT they play and sound great I think (in my opinion and well worth a look if that's your thing). I'm certainly no Charlie Chandler when it comes to these things but hopefully not Charlie Chaplin eitherHere are the specs and prices:
FENDER STRATOCASTER:
Mex Fender 21 Fret maple neck (50's RI)
Mid 80's Olympic White Squier body
Fender USA 57/62 pickups
Wilkinson Deluxe Kluson tuners
Cloth wire, Oak 5-way switch, CTS 250K premium pots and Russian PIO 0.047 cap
Black pickup covers, knobs and switch tip
White scratchplate
Fender 6 saddle vintage bridge
Full heavy relic finish to neck, body and hardware
£350 including TKL gig bag and delivery within the UK
FENDER TELECASTER:
Fender Japan '62 RI Tele neck
Allparts USA Olympic White body
Bareknuckle Aged '50's Blackguard' pickups....super relic work by Tim @ BK I have to say and they sound fantastic as well.
Kluson/ Fender split post tuners
60's Pre-CBS Neckplate, might be a repro job though, can't really tell so don't buy it just for that alone, it was like that when I got it!!
Cloth wire, Oak 3-way switch, Luxe Cornell-Dubilier Capacitor replica 0.047uF cap, CTS 250K pots
KTS Ti saddles (3 saddle with notches)
Full VERY heavy relic finish to neck, body and hardware

EDIT: Would also say that these guitars are available to try if you are close to the Edinburgh area as well. I can also do some kind of 'no quibble' approval type thing too (provided certain conditions are met as well) should you be interested. Not in a massive rush to get rid but GAS knows no boundaries sometimes!

Just a quick edit to this as well, both guitars have been fully copper shielded internally as well. I forgot to add that bit!
I'd also state I'm potentially interested in trades for one or both guitars here (or part ex with cash to you for the right guitar/ amp or you to me if applicable) so feel free to get in touch if one or both are of interest.

I think I have a thread with stuff I have to trade I will try and dig it out.
I also have a Fender Squire japanese supersonic, I know they are rare, but they only appeal to some really, as they are Fender jaguar ish in shape.
I also have a bunch of pedals, a yamaha sg,Tokai 1979 strat etc. I will email you later

Its cream all original except one saddle,and the input jack has been changed.
original pickups etc, excellent sound,condition is very good, would consider a trade or cash really, but dont want to hijack the thread so please pm.
