WOW! Didnt even know there was a recall going on! I wont be able to check the amp until next wednesday, amps in rehearsal room the singer (who has the key) is in Turkey on a beach!

Keep trying to sell the amp until I can get a serial number.

If this was on ebay with you offering to courier it would have gone ages ago. I have had the same dilemna selling amps/cabs, but as long as they are well packed, and insured, send it courier and massively increase your market. I use interparcel.com, they use DHL, TNT, and 48hr delivery is under 30 quid even for big beasties! Must be worth getting a quote.
If I wanted to turn it down I would have just bought a smaller amp wouldn't I, stupid.

You're probably right. But I have a problem with evilBay ...

    I hate it.

Plus, it's not the cost of the courier, it's the care that they'd take (or not) with the amp that would concern me!

I also hate ebay, but not as much as I hate paypal when linked to ebay!!!

It would be insured though - in fact put that you will courier but the buyer has to arrange it, then its all out of your hands. Not related to this at all really, but the wife bought some fancy designer bodywarmer on ebay the other day, and it was delivered in an Iceland carrier bag with some sellotape on it! The cheek of some people!

I really don't want to, because of the risk of damage. But on the other hand, I do want to sell it

Surely you're not interested though Kev? I thought you had enough amps to play with!

I need like I need a 2nd asshole but I wouldn't like it to go to waste, etc. It's too good an amp for that.

It would have to be a deal with the VT50 though as I'm skint.

    How heavy is it?
And, I bet it's really damn loud?

I'm almost very tempted, but I suspect it'll be too big and bulky for me and just a tad too much oomph.

Can't afford it anyway. So...err...ignore me.

I don't think we'd be able to do anything ...

Your VT50 is already well priced (IMHO). I'd want £250 for the Marshall, plus DHL would charge me £15-£30 (depending on whether its under or over 30kgs when packed) for shipping it.

Do you really want to give me your VT50 + c£150 for the Marshall? Doesn't seem like a great deal from your end. And I'd really prefer an HT5 because then I'd be able to sell on my Epi Valve Jr too

    But I appreciate the thought.
