Default CMPlay and Energy XT 2.5

I can't save EnergyXT projects that have CMPlay in them. I can load CMPlay into EnergyXT no problem and I can save the project. But when I load a patch into CMPlay and then try to save the EnergyXT project I get a message - "An error occured your project could not be saved". When I load a patch into CMPlay it loads and plays fine but the Project won't save. This is for EnergyXT 2.5.1 and the beta 2.5.2. Does anyone have any ideas whats going wrong?

How have you set up your save options in the Options screen? if you've left them on defaults ("save references to loaded samples only") there should be no problem as you're saving very little data into the song file.

Default CMPlay and Energy XT 2.5

    Hi Dave,
Yes I had changed the settings in options to include the saving sample as opposed to the refernce to the sample. Changing back to the defaults fixed the problem.
    Thanks Brianes

It's only really worth using that option if you are archiving a copy of song that you always want to get back in the state that it was recorded. For normal daily use, the default is the best option.

Having said that, EnergyXT shouldn't have a problem when CMplay archives samples. I'll ping Jorgen (the developer) and see what he has to say.

OK - Jorgen has run tests and was not able to reproduce the problem. Unless there's any other information that you think might help we're unable to help further.
