    +1 for live. Though i'd probably go for the "suite".

    Unless you want to annoy steinberg by being a customer ;-)


    Oooh nearly forgot... Check out Reaper too. It won't babysit you through the DAW process, but it has a very intense development cycle and a knowlegeable and passionate user base.... and it's less than half the price, or a 10th of the price if you're not a commercial user ;-)
