How do you find the Quartermaster?

Does it colour your sound at all?

Are you using a buffer or a buffered pedal with it?

I've got space for two more pedals. One next to the Nova Delay and one above the Powerfactor. Thinking an EQ above the Powerfactor, but don't really know what to put next to the Nova Delay. Considering a Hardwire Supernatural.

The Quartermaster works really well, no tone colouration that I can detect. The Line 6 wireless take care of the buffering at the front of the chain and the Flashback has a buffer which can be bypassed via an internal micro switch and the Hardwire TR7 seems to have a decent one too, everything else ( I think) is TB with no real toneloss. I'll try putting a DIYpedalkits* buffer after the Timmy as an experiment and I'll get back to you. (*Kev's buffer is a good un by the way).

    Cheers,

So you're well covered for buffers then.

Yeah, I'd be keen to hear the results of that experiment &, if you could, just through the Quartermaster without any buffer, so without the Line 6 wireless. Although that's throwing another variable into the equation with the lead vs. wireless.

    Thanks

Great additions! How do you like the POT? I sold my KOT recently, really liked the yellow side, not so much the red. Really fancy a POT if I can get one for retail price!

Only had a very quick play with it at bedroom levels but so far it sounds great. The bottom end of the signal does get a little lost but i dont think enough to worry me. i needed a second drive to go with my ecstasy and so far the POT suits very well. What drives are you using?

I've just put a cupboard door knob on one end of PedalBoard Mk IV to help me lift it. Don't know why I didn't think of that before. I was going to use a handle you can get your fingers round but there isn't room at that end of the board. At the other end there is room, and I'll try to find a suitable handle next time I go anywhere near a hardware shop.

PedalBoard Mk V (whenever it gets made) will definitely have room for handles to lift it with.
