Hey Downbytheriver! Cool board! How you liking the lazy j cruiser? I struggled with it until I managed to turn my amp up a good bit in the rehearsal room, then suddenly it just came alive and clear, sounded superb. did you experience this?...I'm finding it hard to get the same tones in a home situation as I can't get the volume on my amp..

Hi jdbwales - to be honest I don't really need to see much - the three pedals at the front get turned on and off and their location is pretty obvious, the Klon is always on, the Voodoo Vibe is either on or off at the start of a song and might get turned off during one song - it's so huge it's hard to miss. I don't adjust any knobs (apart from adjusting delay time twice in the set) - each pedal is doing a specific thing and I don't need a massive palette - the Rodenberg is essentially two different boosts (or TS if required), the cruiser does the harder drives (and yes it is a VERY flexible pedal- everything from clean boost to fuzz, so you need to be clear about what you are doing with it!). With different stacks there are quite a few tones here. And the lights are pure flash, so indulge me!

The tremelos (4 of them) are really nice, with no dicernable drop in volume like some. The vibe setting is very usable, the vibropan is cool in a manic sort of over the top kind of way, but the weak link for me is the Rotary. It sounds okay but can get a little bit "robotic" sounding.

Damn nice board, some real quality tones in there. If i didn't already run two analogue delays on my board i'd be so tempted by one of the Skreddy echo's, they're seriously good quality in the tone department. How do you like the vibe machine? I think vibe is the only thing I'm yet to nail on my 'non experimental' board!

Thanks, the board covers most of my needs pretty well. What delays do you use? I use Maxon AD999 for my 'bread and butter' delays and Skreddy Echo for modulated ones. DryBell Vibe is my first vibe, so I can't rate it next to others, but the sound quality and workmanship is excellent. Not to mention the ridiculously small footprint compared to most other vibes. I mostly play humbucker equipped guitars and it works great for adding light swirl and movement to solos. I don't really use it as a pronounced univibe effect a la Hendrix, but it can do that easily too. Even does a faux-Leslie pretty well. It's very easy to dial in, yet has plenty of tweakability under the hood if you need it. It wasn't cheap, but compared to US imports it was actually a pretty good deal I thought (didn't have to pay import tax/duty from Croatia and it was delivered in 3 days).
