The Mobius arrived last week and the honeymoon's still not over. Loving it.
Also props to Matt at Disaster Area Amps for the hardware upgrade allowing me to use
both the Timeline and the Mobius from the DMC 3XL.

It's an eq/boost pedal made by Ryan of Dr scientist, it's currently out of production but Ryan made me a custom one as I'd asked for a clean boost. It's making a limited come back this year at some point.
Heres the info if anybody's interested?

How do you find the mobius?
I had an el cap for awhile, best delay I've ever played. Easily!

Unlike the Timeline which I bought about a year ago from Strymon, where I had to wait about 5 weeks for them to send me one. This time, with the Mobius, when I placed my order it shipped the same day. It could bump my Deja Vibe and my Phase 90 off the board. But, I'm still playing with the possible combos. Deja Vibe with Mobius auto swell, or slow sweep on the Phase 90 with some of the ambient effects the Mobius offers. Here's a link for their site.
    http://www.strymon.net/ or more specifically http://store.strymon.net/

At their home page, click on products, and then Mobius. About one third the way down the page there are many different samples to listen to. Be warned that when I did this, I bought one. lol

    Guitar > Wah > TU-2 > Dyna Comp > LS-2 > MXR EQ > Memory Toy > PS-2 > Ibanez CCL > RV-7 > Amp.

LS-2 loop A is used as a "clean" channel and just controls the volume of the Dyna Comp basically.
Loop B is Blue Box > Blue Tube.

The Dyna Comp was originally in loop A but after finding it pushes the Blue Tube into a nice grind it just had to be put before the LS-2. I'm really loving the Blue Tube now, on it's own it's more or less a nice little pre-amp to fatten up your sound but pushing it a little like a Tube amp it gets really raw. Almost like a Distortion+ kind of raw, but with a nice 3 band EQ! I might try some different tubes in there, though I'm not sure what good that'll do.

I've had a plan for a while to have an A and a B board, partly so I've got a smaller one for certain cramped venues, but also as an excuse to keep a load of pedals I would otherwise have considered selling

First gig tonight with the B board, it's a Diago Gigman:

At the moment the Polytune mini is jumping between boards but next week I'll have a TU-3 so the Polytune will stay on the other one.

    TU-3 vs. Polytune?

I have TU-3, I often need two tuners, Is the Polytune better/worse/different?

It's more a layout thing for me. On my main board I have my Wah first and that's sat on a block of wood so the input jack is at the right height to allow me to plug straight into it, but also keep the pedal right close to the edge (the Diago boards have a lip around all the edges, so getting the lead in can be a bit of a compromise). On that board I need to tuner to be small, so the Polytune mini is perfect.

However on this new B board I'll have the TU-3 close to the edge and the input socket on those is high enough to get the lead in without having the pedal raised up, or drilling a hole in the side of the board.

As for TU-3 vs Polytune, I'm not sure. I used a TU-2 for many years and it did what I needed it to. The Polytune "stum once" function is pretty neat, but not an essential.

    Pitchblack > CS2 > Deja vibe > Rat2 > Zen > Klone > CE2 > DD20 > BoostRVB

That ought to keep me quiet for a while...
