Just been watchin some videos on ms2000b and they do look pretty sweet, strapped at the minute tho . I got a Korg Z1 borrowed from a friend but i gott issues with an earth loop causin a horrible noise which i'm still tryin to resolve so i can use to record rather than just auditioning ideas. I may come back to you in a few weeks if your still sellin and if my finances improve.

No worries. It's only up for sale on forums at the moment but i'll probably put it on Ebay next week if I don't get any bites. It has to go for space AND Virus purchase issues. Sad really as the B models are rare

I like the bass plug for what it is. I definitely think that new Trillian will be a monster and cover alot more bases and basses

I"m waiting to get my hands on the pre-bass from native instruments, but that doesn't have any sub bass lovin in it. Many said the sub boom was just a version of the predator synth, focused on bass.

That's fine...I think the price is right and the sound is good for those deep low end basses.

I've also heard it said that Predator can reproduce the same results as Sub Boom but it's absolutely not true. The confusion stems from the fact that Sub Boom is said to be based on the same audio engine as Predator.

Yes, Trillion promises to be better than Trilogy if Omnisphere is anything to go by, if you want variety. There's also a 7 gig Kontakt library called Basis which is OK if you want all those bass guitars, uprights, cabinet emulation and wot not. I don't. I want deep, pure, rounded basses that make a track bounce and sound just lovely..... if you see what I mean, and I'm not interested in having gigabytes of presets to sift through before finding something in the right ball park

That's fine...I think the price is right and the sound is good for those deep low end basses.
Yup! Price is not bad, cool interface, and it's fun to program. I've got 16 start ups left between now and the 22nd which I intend to use. I can get it for £80 from Digital Village, Birmingham, which is not far for me, but if anyone finds a better price don't hesitate to post a link in this thread. Digital Village will match any price out there

    Cheers

Yeah I hear ya...only reason I said that is because my boy has predator, and he tried sub boom and says it's the same, says he can get the same stuff out of it.

but, that don't matter to me, I like the idea of an instrument specifically made for those round low end basses, much needed.

I definitely think trillian will be the best all around bass module, but think sub boom is cool for what it does, I plan to get it at some point.

And even if you didn't want all the presets to trawl through, judging by the Omnisphere STEAM engine, Trillian will no doubt have a basic waveform synth comprising you basic sinewaves, squarewaves etc, which will allow you to build your own basslines from dot without ever touching the presets. I already use this alot in Omnisphere and with all the editing features FX and processing tools included in the software you should be able to get those luscious deep rounded basslines in no time at all.

Many other soft synths also have a basic Sine utility that should enable you to get those bass juices flowing

Its definetely on my 'to buy' list, I really like the spectrasonics stuff and I already got Stylus RMX n Omnisphere so it would be rude of me not to get Trillion too.

    .

    This matters.

I use Battery for drums even though Cubase can do all the same things without a plugin. It's about speed and workflow. For the same reason when I come home from work I come through the front door rather than using an upstairs window

    edit - great website btw.
