I have 2 x original 1970's Dimarzio PAF's with double cream coils for sale. One for neck position and one for bridge position.
Great condition for their age! The bridge pickup has just over 6 inches of wire left and neck pickup has just over 10 inches of wire left. Both pickups are 3 conductors (2 wires plus braided shield).
I had both pickups professionally wax potted a year ago. The wax potting didn't affect the tone in anyway at all, they sound identical now as they did before, but now they don't have any of the uncontrollable microphonic squeeling that they used to have!
These pickups sound killer, very versatile. They sound great when using high gain, and just as killer when using lower gain or cleans.
The DC resistance on the bridge model reads 8.15 Kohms The DC resistance on the neck model reads 7.46 Kohms

Old thread re-activated but I am now going to sell these pickups on if possible. I bought them from Dan last year and put them in my late 60's LP Goldtop which was routed for humbuckers. I have now sold the guitar on and the pickups are surplus to requirements. The pickups though ARE the real deal and very very good in my opinion, well worth a try if that's your type of sound. Slightly more aggressive than traditional PAF's but very much in that ballpark. Think 'Thin Lizzy', Live and Dangerous and it's along those kind of lines I'd say.
All info still as above and condition is as Dan says, great for their age. They are currently already fitted with a set of genuine Gibson Les Paul Historic pickup rings (aged creme) so I'm happy to ship these fitted.
