    Default Blackstar S1 100

Selling my Blackstar Series1 100W Head.

3 months old. Gigged once but mainly home practice. MINT condition. If you're on this forum and you're looking at this ad you know all about this amp. It is a tone monster with 2 channels and 4 voices. More sophisticated and classy than the Marshall JVM it can do anything from sparkly clean to full on metal.

Reason for sale - moving to Artisan 30H for a simpler clean and classic sound which I can adjust with high quality pedals. Series1 is too "modern" for an old git like me.

This is a bargain for someone as I'm selling for £600 - a saving of £250 on new price. You are effectively getting a brand new amp at a discount.

Buyer collects (I am based in Hampshire) as this is a heavy beast but I am willing to deliver for petrol money if Midlands/Southern region.

Here's a top-tip for Saturday... don't buy expensive amps without knowing 100% that you're gonna keep it and use it longer than 3 months

Wish I'd known that tip 30 years ago when I bought my first amp instead of giving too much money in the intervening years to Marshall, Fender, MesaBoogie and Blackstar

30 years = 12 amps but only 3 guitars. There's a moral to the story somewhere I guess
