Video production quality on dvd masterclasses

my first post is a moan sorry.

What is going on with the production of some of the video content on the masterclasses. this months Matrix and futurebound is hardly watchable. the screen is very dark. The editing is not much better.
A few other videos have also been very badly recorded and its a shame as it puts me off an otherwise great dvd.
Could the camera man not use two cameras instead of one and edit it together into a more professional quality recording.
The magazine is meant to be about cutting edge technology but the camera man looks like he is using a mobile or some rubbish camera to record with.
I could do a better job and I am sure a lot of other readers could too.
please give the camera man some better quality gear to record with or sack him : )
If you used two cameras with one focused on the producers computer screen and one for the wider shots it would make for a better viewing.

please could we get it sorted out.

other than that everything is first rate, I subsribe to both Future music and computer music mags and am very happy each month they drop in my door.

other peoples thoughts would be welcome on this.

pride in ones work is out weighed by the peer pressure not to spend on equipement,
i've always found the audio quality really poor on these, lapel mics for the guest, a direct feed from the soundcard? not a huge ask and surely the host has a laptop and multi input soundcard when he/she works for a music tech mag.

A zoom H4 would solve the audio problems. zoom would probably give it for free with all the product placement they'd be getting.

They've been shoddy webcam quality for ages.

The really poor video quality of Alex Skolnick ones about a year back convinced me to not renew by GT subscription.
