Hi Dirtydog I tried the 30 w head and didn't think it was man enough for the type of stuff I do in the band (loud classic rock covers) but for me I thought the same of the hellcat 2x12 combo that I used to have for a short while. I think Cornfords are great amps I've had every hand wired model except the RK100 (the MK50 is easily as loud as most other 100's Ive tried so F**k knows how loud that is!) Go try one and see if it suits you is the best advice I can give. Good luck with the quest and don't forget even with the same gear we all sound different coz its all in the hands!
