    Smidgeon,

    If you can't find one 2nd hand try giving dennis a ring direct. He generally discounts both for cash and for return customers. You do have to be within driving distance of his home in Southend.

    BTW, you won't regret it...I use an 18/20 head with a Marshall 2x12 for gigging. It's a tone monster

    I'm saving up for a Romany Plus but being oop North (and car-less at the moment) this is a bit of a blow.

    I imagine there is a VAT issue here, which is why the prices on his website are all RRP. All I can say is if you phone him he'll probably quote you a discount price. I have three of his amps and have always bought direct from him at considerably less than the shop price.

    Of course one you begin factoring in transport costs any discount saving is reduced.
