Kev's Tiny Fuzz Build Project!!!
Reet... Been asked for pics and stuff... here goes...
DISCLAIMER: I am a stress head!!! Any agro that comes across is cause I have NO patience.. hence the number of times i tried to screw the tip back on the soldering iron while it was still hot!!
Reet... On first opening....
Neatly packaged... no damages... everything in order... even got solder with it!!!

Every wire i cut was too short... not as in no chance of fitting... as in about half a mm too short so it was practically touching where it was supposed to be but just not enough to solder... this made me angry... you wouldn't like me when i'm angry... specially with a really really hot soldering iron!!!
Anyhow...
Painted case... Notice scuffs and things... this is due to my lack of patience... i didn't let the paint dry! I will rebox one day but not a chance in hell it'll be soon given the aggro i cause myself!! remember.... nothing to do with kev's instructions or anything... just me being mr narky!!
Final Gutshot.... Can't really see much.... too packed!!! Kit was awesome... works realy well suprisingly... and sturdy enough to be thrown *ahem* dropped down the stairs and still work!! Put a bit of leccy tape on the back of the board incase it touched the ground or something.... paranoia!!
It has taught me a valuble lesson in patience.... and that I have none!!! I was planning to build a small army of tiny tiny pedals like this cause on freestompboxes.org they manage to get anything and everything in them!!! someone even got a zvex autowah in one!!
but this has shown me that bigger is better and I will be putting all my custome builds into biscuit tins!!! lol!

This thing sounds great. Is it based on anything, or an original design?
Well like all fuzz's they can be traced back to another pedal so nothing's ever going to be truly unique in the fuzz world, which is the same for this one.
The circuit, however, is original and is unique. If you looked at the schematic you'd see the usual suspects of a fuzz pedal but the component values and vero layout is unique to this pedal.
In other words, it's as unique as a simple fuzz circuit can be.
