    Default Martamp M50

Something's come up that I fancy and I need the cash, therefore for sale is my Martamp M50.

In summary, it's a Ceriatone Plexi JMP50 kit assembled by Martin at Martamp. Fully point-to-point internals and a very very neat job.

In addition it's fitted with Power Scaling so therefore has a built in attenuator. The power scaling is a thing of beauty. It really is how amps should be attenuated. This feature is very expensive on it's own!

Condition wise it's 10/10. Not a mark on the thing. It's either been flightcased or had a soft cover on it for it's entire life. Never moved without something on it.

The amp is currently fully loaded with NOS Mullards, but if you want me to stick JJ's I'll take £100 of the price.

Delivered within the UK it's £725

Delivered in the UK without Mullards it's £625

I can't post any pics as the net-Nazis at work have blocked Photobucket. In the meantime, here's a pic of the amp from Martamp's site :

    I'll post pics later.

Putting aside all the upcoming merry japery no doubt soon to be attached to this thread, I'd have to give a huge 'big up' to this amp. I have played this very amp and it simply sounds fantastic. If a later 60's Marshall JMP type sound is your thing then it's well worth a look and for the money, fantastic value too.

    Cheers

Bummer Kev, I could have bought that a couple of weeks ago... but I'm much too happy with your old 50watt MV combo to go changing now. Good luck with the sale. If Shugz rates it that highly too, then it's going to be great! Looks like a steal for someone.

Aye the cab went a while back when I got the '69 4x12.

The amp's a cracker as Hugh said. It sits (to my ears) exactly between a JTM and a JMP. Not as fierce as a JMP but hotter than a JTM.

And I haven't even mentioned the power scaling! That's worth the entry fee alone!

Yeah, but it's not THE matching cab
